Ducati recalls 2705 Monster 1200, Monster 821 and SuperSport motorcycles
Ducati, the Italian motorcycles company, launches a revocable campaign again, and this time it concerns not the long-suffering Panigale V4, but more simple models. The reason is insignificant. 2,705 motorcycles of the Monster 1200, Monster 821 and SuperSport models 2017, 2018 and 2019 will undergo warranty repairs related to a defect in the gear shift knob.
In fact, the foot itself at the point of attachment with a knob may break down or detach itself, which in turn will lead to the impossibility of working with the gearbox, which is a safety hazard while riding. The campaign starts on January 25, 2019 and is distributed to all countries, and all owners who have officially acquired the above motorcycles will be notified by dealers.
